I'm pretty sure, just based on the geographic area he was supposed to be born in, that Jesus wasn't all that blond. laugh.gif

Jesus went into the witness protection program, he dyed his hair and thus.. he became Eventru.
Celina2009-04-22 06:13:42
Eventru's picture isn't nearly gay enough.

I'm also fairly certain that, due to the geographic region he was supposedly born in, he wasn't all that white.

So many ways to go with that and so many ways to get banned if I go in any of 'em, more than likely..

Isn't it humorous that us white people tend to think of any positive historical figure as white? I'm not religious in the least, but even I just assumed for a long time that Jesus was white. Then I thought about it for a moment, and realized that there's no way.
Gwylifar2009-04-22 12:10:14
That might have just a little bit to do with the Roman Catholic Church, if you think about it a bit.

D'you think that may have something to do with the fact that almost every crucifix displays him as white (and a brunette).

Proof that all white people are inherently racist and evil, and deserve to die. KILL WHITEY ban.gif

Edit: Just so it's clear that I don't possess such extreme viewpoints - that link was a Rick Roll.

Firstly: That picture makes me laugh. I may steal it for my avatar.

Secondly: The man depicted crucified is generally accepted as Alexander the Great, not Christ. Christ was a short little jew, with a complexion and build fitting for a middle eastern of his ancestry. The Church adapted this to something they found more familiar with the people they were orienting their religion to, and the people leading the church. For instance, if the man on the cross was 'black' (I hate that word, it's so vague), you would not see caucasians worshipping him so freely or readily.

Thirdly: Believing the Catholic Church on anything relative to the life of Christ or religion is silly. Everything has been changed and adapted sooo many times for the convenience of the people in power you'd have better luck getting the Church of Latter Day Saints to support gay marriage and abortion than finding the truth in Church doctrine.
