Now. I influenced myself to Circle 65. I gained an -excellent- amount of gold doing so. Esteem has been my best friend, yes. But now, I'm looking at experience gain.

Tosha monks now give me only about 1% per. I don't know whether this is just usual for one of my level, but my question is: would I gain more experience by hunting than by influencing? I aim for level 70 for the last batch of free credits, but I don't want to drive myself insane in the hours of repeatedly 'influence monk with supplication' (especially now that I've played with triggers/a sipper).

EDIT: I still move around to find monks to influence, though!

Alternating beg and supplication works better than supplication alone.
Since you're in Serenwilde, the Ladies on Ethereal and the Moon Bubble are good. There's also the commune guards.

Edit: The considered strength of the Ladies varies with the phases of the Moon. Not sure if experience changes.

Experience while bashing is the same experience while influencing, for the same mob.

That said, Guards give the best xp as far as I know, and I went from level 79-81 on guards alone the first time I passed that hurdle.

If you have good access to Ethereal, Ladies and Daughters are better xp than guards, although their strength and xp vary with the lunar phase.

What about the kephera, illithoids, and those new shroom fae? Do they give more xp than guards and Ethereal stuff? I've decided that angels aren't worth the effort, and I haven't bothered with Frosticia. Krumcandivia was... so-so.

I'd like an area with mobs like Quettle for those who are high leveled and influence.

Kephera give the same xp as Daughters/ladies I think, except for the monk kephera. Don't know about ilithoids.

Kephera give esteem in the same range as the Daughters, although I find them overall slower to influence. Part of that might be the health/mana/ego rune on the crown that I don't take off to beg. Haven't checked xp rates or tried influencing illithoids seriously.

Illithoid scavengers, ravagers, and marauders give me about the same xp as Ladies; Cenobites are a bit more. But like Xavius said for kephera, they take a bit longer to influence than Ladies. If I remember rightly, illithoids are greedy too, so no charity. But I do find influencing in the prison a nice break on the willpower drain I get from killing the things.

No they don't. Kephera give the same xp as ladies on the moon bubble with the harmony thing up (xp bonus) and only during full moon. In all other cases kephera are the best (not counting miakoda, bob, etc)

@Alacardael f you want to gain xp fast, influencing is not the way to go at it.

Guards are influenceable at Ethereal Mother, at least.
Influencing didn't slow down for Xiran until about level 75. And she hasn't used the Undervault for experience.

Daughters on the Night bubble gave me .05% at level 79
Gaurds give me .07% and Daughters during waxing cresent give me .12% (tae'dae with harmony)

When hunting, kephera tend to give me .10% (not influencing) (human with harmony) and Kephera monks give me about 0.20%

the guards at ethereal are very old

wait until you are level 90+ you will weep at the fact that in the same time you can get 5% with influencing you have 15% with hunting
