I'm a newb at cooking Trademaster, and I'm having a hard time with both designing and what catagory to place the design IN.

I've created a gila jerky recipe, but I don't know where to put it. Xavius said something about platters, but when I look at DESIGNS PATTERNS COOKING, I don't see a platters recipe.

I know there's at least one jerky recipe (in Serenwilde), and it is listed as a dish. So which base recipe do I use to make this recipe?

The platter is the gourmet surf and turf dinner. Use that and DESIGN #### TYPE DISHES.

The beef jerky is based off of the simple beef pattern. Kind of like how shrimp curry and chicken curry are based off of shrimp and chicken patterns as opposed to a curry pattern.

There IS a platter pattern, but it's partially sort of kind of hidden. It should be the gourmet surf and turf dinner that gets listed. Just request that.

Edit: Curse you, Xavius nono.gif

Thanks so much dry.gif I had the recipe on the simple beef, but was told should be on the platter. Thanks Fionn and Ildaudid!

Is there a way to set different drinks for spirits? I wanted to make a rum toddy once, but had to settle with a whiskey toddy. I've seen juleps and moonshines, so there must be a way to make different kinds of spirits (only 3 kinds seem dull, there are lots of different kinds.) How can this be done?
Xavius2008-03-03 18:10:44
Some cooking base nouns have been removed entirely. Don't know why. Can't design moonshine anymore just as much as you can't design tarts anymore.

That's just really stupid. I'm going to fight for variety in cooking.
