So how do we do combat as an axelord? Some nice afflictions but I'm unsure how to maximize their potential. knockdown, forinstance seems great in groups but lacks for 1 on 1 since I have no way to keep them down. I've noticed slitlocks are amazingly easy to pull, but what else is there? I'm also having lots of toruble with the early combat. How can I use the light wounds to hinder?

Edit: Whoops! Thought Iwas in Combat section

You can chop off people's limbs, which kicks ass.

You can do that with Pureblade.

Overall, Axelord is still the least powerful spec. It has pretty much 2 things I ever use, an I'm at Fabled: Knockdown and Slit. I'll try for other things, but it really lacks hindering offence and whatnot. A lot of the wounds are *awesome* ideas: Open chest causes you to walk slower. Snap rib will make your balance and eq take longer to recover. The problem is that both are cured rather simply, so they have zero effect.

There is one thing that I'd like to try, and that would be stacking shatterjaw with slitthroat. Theoretically, if done correctly, they wouldn't be able to cure slit/broken jaw for a little longer than the usual 2 seconds.
