I was thinking... all the other IRE games use shrubs. What about making Lusternia different?
Maybe make them into seals along the path up the Peak, or make them float about the aetherways, or something?
Anyone have ideas or thoughts on this?

The gods have the ability to create shrubs. Other than that, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Vix2006-01-23 02:45:54
Nooo! Don't take the shrubs! What about poor Monty Python?

That's exactly what I'm talking about...

Maybe for Nature Gods they get shrubs and for City gods they get I dunno, um..paving stones?
Arix2006-01-23 02:53:26
Urinal cakes. Turn the bad people into urinal cakes.

Turn they into a newt then. They wouldn't actually be newts, but they'd be condemned to say, "She turned me into a newt!" and "Well I got better." FOR ALL ETERNITY!

I had mentioned this before. Aye Shrubs are borring. Why not other greenery like .. Pussywillows? Or Skunkcabbage
Arix2006-01-23 03:10:52
or Stench Blossoms! ooh, or one of those giant rainfoest plants that smells like rotten meat
Unknown2006-01-23 03:11:34
Remember that it is supposed to be a punishment to be shrubbed. I don't think we need to make it interesting at all.
Arix2006-01-23 03:18:48
Hence my suggestion of turning people into urinal cakes
Verithrax2006-01-23 03:19:23
Shrubbing can be interesting without being desirable. You wouldn't want to have your character turned into a bowl of petunias or a very surprised-looking whale, but both are more interesting than just turning into a shrub. Permanent toadcurse, anyone?
Penelope2006-01-23 03:53:02
I suggest Garden Gnomes as the new form of punishment.
Acrune2006-01-23 04:10:35
How about cabbages?
Vesar2006-01-23 04:29:16
Think of something that isn't plant-life.
Paving stones are good.. Statues...

Diamondais2006-01-23 04:31:40
Paving stones or bricks all the way.. No statues, statues are more to memoralize a person/item/God/Goddess. Paving stone or brick might work because it would look pretty stupid to see a paving stone in the same room as you, but it only really works for a City God or Goddess to do that and have the Nature Gods and Goddesses do some form of plant life.
Unknown2006-01-23 04:42:23
I like gnomes of some sort. Maybe gnomes and finks?
EDIT: Well, statues of them I mean. Or dead ones. Or something.

Something we can kick around might work.

Acrune2006-01-23 04:51:13
Piles of poo? And instead of rustling, they can steam.
