I managed to escape an entire army of the dirty buggers until I ran into the damn hexes. Why is it that as soon as you feel like using the gates they DISSAPEAR?!

and you find yourself tumbling through the aether pathways.

Utter destruction has rampaged through this room and the Taint left behind
pulses with a rhythm that reverberates through every leaf and twig. The entire
glade is dwarfed by the massive shards of tree that emanated from the centre of
the explosion. Ebony sap pools in little basins around its massive girth and
they glow with a sepulchral lumniscence that highlights the surroundings in a
baleful light. The surrounding trees lear with rictuses of death, howling for
release from this forsaken place and their obeisance to the central area. The

The final transformation of the forest occurs here as the entire area reaks
with a dark Taint that drips from the very branches overhead. Twisted shapes
line the avenue of approach to the north and the stunted boles of trees leer
with insane visages that seem to exude daggers of pain. Crawling vines choke
off the life of any other plants that attempt to encroach upon the area and rip
away the very vistages of colour for their own malign survival.

Quiet respite among the dark woods.
Several smaller trees stand in council around a towering, red-barked pine that
branches overhead and blocks the light in every direction. Their leaves
whispering secrets to their protector, this oasis of calm seems to be
relatively undisturbed compared to the rest of the forest. The tranquil nature
of the landscape is unsettled, however, by the dark ooze that leaks from
several of the trees, their very sap warped from its natural state. The black
resin brings with it a sickly, blighted smell that carries through the forest
and attracts odd motes of living shadow that silently dance about the trees'
twisted roots.

Lightning scarred glade beside a murmuring brook.
A bolt of lightning has torn a jagged scar down the trunk of a nearby tree, the
twisted wound seeping black liquid that covers the heart of the tree in sticky
darkness. The ground where the liquid essence of the tree has been absorbed is
devoid of all plants. Nothing grows in the circular region, a testament to the
corrosive and toxic nature of this twisted area. A small brook gently murmurs
on its way past the glade, but the waters are not as refreshing as one would
hope, as several bones line the banks.

Dark dance around groves of ash.
Dancing shadows interlink grimy tentacles in a mysterious dance around the
boles of the surrounding trees. The ash trunks shoot straight upwards in a
clawing reach for the mostly unseen sky. Scratchy leaves scatter everywhere in
a biting rasp that tangles against any living creature daring this wildwood. A
darkened break to the north is the only apparent pathway through here and
several other groves of ash trees can be seen.

Near a giant tree covered in deadly vines.
A massive tree grows here in all its corrosive glory, a myriad of vines dancing
wickedly along its limbs seeking any flesh to tear and pierce. Several smaller
plants lie at its base and a cloyingly sweet smell infuses the entire area. The
results of the scent are evidenced by the piles of skin and tatters of flesh
that line the exposed roots of the tree. Several ants continually march by on
their way to feed on the slaughtered animals.

Thicket of somber, stunted oak trees.
Stunted oaks tangle with each other in a seemingly drunken stupor, their limbs
clasping with deadly grips. Razor edged leaves shower from above and the
pathway winds away from their landing areas as the trail of animals that lope
through here make sure to avoid them. A palpable gloom hangs over the copse,
enshrouding it in an eternal twilight that never changes or lightens.

A bright point of light in the dreary forest.
Little flickers of light dance across the bark of the nearby trees, motes of
radiance filtering down from the openings in the canopy above. The only source
of light in this dreary forest this little vale provides a much needed sense of
hope and vigour that endures despite a climate that attempts to eradicate it.
Small pebbles with interesting inscriptions lie around the perimeter of the
valley and a sense of peace seems to emanate from them.

Melancholy clearing around a dark flower.
One single blooming flower glows with a dismal radiance, its black petals
seemingly about to fall at any time should the slightest breeze disturb it.
Left in eternal solitude, the flower bears on despite all setbacks and provides
a sign of life in this graveyard of a forest. Several vines hang low, their
thorns severely exaggerated and appearing to reach towards the little flower.
The rest of the forest seems distant, the trees sitting farther back except for
the limbs that overstretch the little clearing.

One mushroom surrounded by stands of cottonwood.
The distinct aroma of mushroom spores pervades the entire area with a sickening
scent reminscent of decomposing bodies. A copse of cottonwood trees stands at
attention, as rickety as they may seem. Casually growing in bunches of threes,
they seem to be somehow surviving near a small creek bed that has long since
dried up. One of the aforementioned mushrooms seems to be the lone visible
member of its kind. Its giant size more than represents the others as it looms
from a nearby rock.

Avenues of dead leaves and intertwined branches.
Leaves decay from the very branches as they fall through the air in a shower of
blackened death. Crunching piles leave little room for silence as every being
within this forest crashes throughout the huge stacks scattered everywhere. The
only avenue of approach for anything wishing some semblance of stealth is
through the trees and as the branches closely intertwine, travel becomes easier
than it appears through them.

Forest descending into darkness.
Taking a decidedly darker turn, the forest's lighting mutes itself into a mere
suggestion of what it was previously. Moaning winds pick up with stronger
draughts, gusting throughout the trees and sending leaves skidding about the
area. Several older trees leer upwards while their branches form reaching hands
that thrust their knife-like tips into the air as the wind shifts them about.
Insidious eyes glow from the depths of the forest's confines and watch every
moment made within their world.

Through broken and blasted trees.
Slivers of wood litter the ground as a result of some long ago blast that
destroyed the trees, leaving shattered stumps as the only reminder of what grew
here. Lichen and moss have seized a stranglehold on the surface area of the
trunks and leave little of the original rings open to the air. Many small,
dark-leaved plants grow between the broken tree remains. Slithering about the
undergrowth, several smaller lizards flicker in and out of sight hunting for
the nutritious bugs found in the depths of the plant life.

Pathways draped with veils of vines.
Vines hang from overhead, drooping into the paths that wander throughout the
trees and presenting curious curtains that veil any line of sight. Cackling
calls echo by in an eerie soundtrack to the whispering trees, their branches
sighing against each other with squealing grinds. Leaves crunch beneath the
heavy footfall of some unseen animal and heavy breathing ambiently rasps
throughout the forest.

Among plants fighting for life amongst decay.
The uncanny darkness that has settled over the surroundings gives way slightly,
as if blown away by a weary sigh of relief. Several natural trees jut upwards
from the soil in a heroic attempt at finding sunlight amidst such a bleak
landscape, while their floral counterparts on the ground keep up the fight and
provide a small bit of colour amid the blackness of the rest of the area.
Falling leaves pile up everywhere in sight and form decaying mounds that grow
endlessly.

The blasted landscape screams of pain and suffering as the trees seem to crawl
in unbearable agony. Their very bark is maimed into grotesque shapes that
sickly imitate the flesh of dead bodies. Nearly all the trees are devoid of
leaves and those that have some sort of foliage seem to whisper poisonous words
into the very breath of the wind. Misty darkness shrouds the entire area in a
false sense of twilight that is pierced only by strangely luminescent lichen
that provides a subtle, malign glow to every surface.

no forewarning that the forested away is giving way to the darkness.

one another in an eerie, discordant rhythm. Strange dolls lie propped against

macabre hugs. The entire area whispers sibilant words that chill the very air,
the source seemingly coming from the south. A bone chilling cold seeps from
the ground and leaves ghostly footprints along the pathway.

A foul odour emits from the flowers planted in this area, the scent reeking of
death and decay. Aligned somewhat with the smell of rotting meat mixed with
sulphur, the overpowering aroma creates a nauseating environment. Despite the
evident disgust invoked by the blossoms, they show evidence of care in their
healthy petals and grow in marked rows. The flower bed itself seems to begin a
trend that can be seen further south in the twisted trees along that direction.

Silly little spirals dance around, their carefree existence allowing them to
float slightly off the ground. Paintings adorn the nearest trees, bright
colours swirling and no double applied by the spirals themselves. Little
painted footprints lead all over the area and disappear as the spirals take
back to the sky. Giggling laughter chimes overhead as the ever mirthful spirits
sprint from place to place.

Small crystalline pyramids float lazily above the ground, driven by a
constantly twisting breeze. Shapes can be barely made out within several of the
floating rooms lit from inside. Shadows flicker across the occupied dwellings
creating interesting caricatures across the exterior surfaces. Most are
uninhabited evidenced by the lack of light and movement, these seeming to eddy
about more quickly. A royal knight of Faethorn stands here at the ready.

Conveyances flashing into existance.
Golden pyramids dash into and out of existence, their forms flickering into
being and just as suddenly disappearing. A nearby board seems to spell out a
schedule for the departures and arrivals, but the sheer amount of luck or
timing needed to jump into one of the conveyances at the right time seems
insurmountable. Each pyramid has a runic inscription on a face, corresponding
to the symbol located on the board. A booming voice echoes from above calling
out those arriving and departing but because of their speed, the voice is
nearly a blur.

Silvery messengers.
Silvery bits of streaming metal bubble upwards from the ground and float lazily
into the branches of the trees above. Held within netting, intriguing molds
catch the silver vapour which coalesces into small pyramids that are sent
flying in all directions. Each little creation has a distinct message written
on its faces and thus the messaging system of Faethorn is realised. The casual
grunting of some larger animal originates from somewhere above, the caretaker
of the moulds going about his job.

An oscillating breeze.
A spinning inverted pyramid oscillates with epic force creating a whirlwind. At
the centre, the twisting object seems to emit an ethereal light as it feeds off
the energies of the plane in order to continue spinning. Small branches and
leaves are sucked into the maelstrom and the cone of wind extends upwards into
the sky. This extremely localized tornado provides the moving breezes felt
throughout Faethorn and maintains the delightful temperatures felt throughout.

turn about. Acting like gears, the faces twist and shift each other forcing the
others to shift in a continued pattern that causes bits of ethereal light to be
caught up and shifted down the line. Extending towards the north, the entire
contraption powers the whirlwind found there and helps keep a steady supply of
energy so the entire realm is kept comfortable.

being and just as suddenly disappearing. A nearby board seems to spell out a
schedule for the departures and arrivals, but the sheer amount of luck or
timing needed to jump into one of the conveyances at the right time seems
insurmountable. Each pyramid has a runic inscription on a face, corresponding
to the symbol located on the board. A booming voice echoes from above calling
out those arriving and departing but because of their speed, the voice is
nearly a blur.

location, following some unseen track as they all dance in an orchestrated set
of moves.

from the north. Roiling across the surface, the roots of the trees grasp at any
firm purchase in order to keep upright against the ever present gusts of air.

the centre, the twisting object seems to emit an ethereal light as it feeds off

the sky. This extremely localized tornado provides the moving breezes felt
throughout Faethorn and maintains the delightful temperatures felt throughout.

energy so the entire realm is kept comfortable.

out of nothing, holding the semblance of being for mere moments before
splashing apart once again. The actions must be deliberate as the forms are

crafted for a midsummer's ball. The choicest bits of hide are stored away from
the elements but that used for everyday normal use sits here ready and at hand.

customary helmet letting her hair fall free.

in with the breath of song that filters in from the north.

from the north. Roiling across the surface, the roots of the trees grasp at any
firm purchase in order to keep upright against the ever present gusts of air.

The blasted landscape screams of pain and suffering as the trees seem to crawl
in unbearable agony. Their very bark is maimed into grotesque shapes that
sickly imitate the flesh of dead bodies. Nearly all the trees are devoid of
leaves and those that have some sort of foliage seem to whisper poisonous words
into the very breath of the wind. Misty darkness shrouds the entire area in a
false sense of twilight that is pierced only by strangely luminescent lichen
that provides a subtle, malign glow to every surface. Pleasantly plump, the
mother lounges here smiling. A beautiful sprite flitters here with a brilliant
halo of white light illuminating her presence. Smiling to herself, a wood nymph
stands here. A willowisp bobs about in the air here. A pixie hovers in the air,
fluttering about on tiny wings. Floating eerily in the air is the quivering
form of a banshee. Trying unsuccessfully to blend into the background, a
pigwidgeon scuffles about on the ground. Kithe, Eternal Crystal Pebble is here.

on their branches. Whether placed in reverence or warding, there is no telling
but they don't quite manage to lighten to the perpetual gloom that hangs over
the room.

contraption powers the whirlwind found there and helps keep a steady supply of
energy so the entire realm is kept comfortable.

the centre, the twisting object seems to emit an ethereal light as it feeds off

the sky. This extremely localized tornado provides the moving breezes felt
throughout Faethorn and maintains the delightful temperatures felt throughout.

Rose Petal Lane.
This wide thoroughfare casually gambols along the edges of Faethorn although
when its feeling quite sneaky, it connects with Rainwater Lane over on the
western side just to randomly confuse everyone. This lanes derives its name
from the fact that the road is made entirely from rose petals and each step
taken sinks slightly into the road. The delicate perfume of the flowers is
released every time someone passes by and property along the lane is highly
prized.

Glassy webs of silk.
Silken webs of glass are spun from tree to tree in this area, the resulting
kaleidoscope of colours throwing prisms of rainbow hued light everywhere. The
dizzying display of tints sets various trees afire with vividly coloured auras.
The conflagration seems to flicker as if flame, the glass webs shaking in the
slightest breeze. A melodious burst of notes emanates from the strands
themselves as they brush against each other, the song being that of pure light
given voice.

A lattice of crystal.
Crystalline stalagmites shimmer throughout the room, their surfaces reflecting
the available light and sending it scattering back and forth. Each separate
spire gleams with an inner glow whose colours twist within in a shifting
kaleidoscope of hues. The jutting sharpened stone also constantly shifts
location, following some unseen track as they all dance in an orchestrated set
of moves. A royal knight of Faethorn stands here at the ready.

Golden pyramids dash into and out of existence, their forms flickering into
being and just as suddenly disappearing. A nearby board seems to spell out a
schedule for the departures and arrivals, but the sheer amount of luck or
timing needed to jump into one of the conveyances at the right time seems
insurmountable. Each pyramid has a runic inscription on a face, corresponding
to the symbol located on the board. A booming voice echoes from above calling
out those arriving and departing but because of their speed, the voice is
nearly a blur.

catch the silver vapour which coalesces into small pyramids that are sent
flying in all directions. Each little creation has a distinct message written
on its faces and thus the messaging system of Faethorn is realised. The casual
grunting of some larger animal originates from somewhere above, the caretaker
of the moulds going about his job.

provide a small bit of colour amid the blackness of the rest of the area.

Massive beech trees spread their branches overhead in a glorious display marred
only by the lack of colour in their leaves. Usually shiny and bright green,
these leaves are dull and as such are another dismal reminder of the twisted
nature of this forest. Broken limbs lie about everywhere, fuel for another dark
night to keep the shadows at bay. A feeling of pure sorrow seems to emanate
from the entire locality serving as a bleak admonition about playing with
higher forces.

Small, hardy tufts of grass fight for a meager existance in this scraggly
forest, the rest of the flora just as sorely lacking the nutrients needed to
continue living. Several random trees lie haphazardly placed, as though some
divine hand threw sticks to the ground and they stood up where they landed.
Serrated edges on the leaves slice into the casual passerby and the sporatic
choking vine hangs above a pile of bones that attest to its slow power.

magnified here in every leaf, blade, and plant.

Tangled boughs criss-cross overhead in a shadowy umbrella that blocks any
natural light that might have tried to pierce the canopy. The only source of
illumination seems to come from the crawling lichen that oozes its way around
the entire area in a carnivorous display of hunger. Several of the various
shades of plantlife seem to be battling each other, large patches growing brown
in death while others seem to grow ever larger. The wind is tainted with a
subtle scent that sighs with the pain of death and decay.

through the trees and as the branches closely intertwine, travel becomes easier
than it appears through them.

Several aging branches creak with indeterminate dates of decay, their
ever-drooping limbs lying in exhausted defeat despite their relative ages.
Massive holes within the trunks of the trees leave shaded pits that house a
varigated set of creatures, deadly -- or merely surviving. The eternal night
environment lends a chilly nip to the air and fleeting glimpses of frost that
barely survive past an indrawn breath. Despite the rundown and abandoned
outlook the entire area has, it teems with life just beyond the edge of vision.

The contaminated land here has led rise to twisted trees that dance sickeningly
across the horizon in a malignant display of growth. Showers of leaves
constantly pile up and achieve a life of their own as the growing rot within
their hearts festers and smolders into liquid putrefaction that serves as the
primary diet for the surrounding plants. An old pathway of stone lies crumbled
beneath the weight of decay, several stones jutting up at odd angles and
likening themselves to ships sinking in the sea.

Near a giant tree covered in deadly vines.
A massive tree grows here in all its corrosive glory, a myriad of vines dancing
wickedly along its limbs seeking any flesh to tear and pierce. Several smaller
plants lie at its base and a cloyingly sweet smell infuses the entire area. The
results of the scent are evidenced by the piles of skin and tatters of flesh
that line the exposed roots of the tree. Several ants continually march by on
their way to feed on the slaughtered animals.

Thicket of somber, stunted oak trees.
Stunted oaks tangle with each other in a seemingly drunken stupor, their limbs
clasping with deadly grips. Razor edged leaves shower from above and the
pathway winds away from their landing areas as the trail of animals that lope
through here make sure to avoid them. A palpable gloom hangs over the copse,
enshrouding it in an eternal twilight that never changes or lightens.

A bright point of light in the dreary forest.
Little flickers of light dance across the bark of the nearby trees, motes of
radiance filtering down from the openings in the canopy above. The only source
of light in this dreary forest this little vale provides a much needed sense of
hope and vigour that endures despite a climate that attempts to eradicate it.
Small pebbles with interesting inscriptions lie around the perimeter of the
valley and a sense of peace seems to emanate from them.

Melancholy clearing around a dark flower.
One single blooming flower glows with a dismal radiance, its black petals
seemingly about to fall at any time should the slightest breeze disturb it.
Left in eternal solitude, the flower bears on despite all setbacks and provides
a sign of life in this graveyard of a forest. Several vines hang low, their
thorns severely exaggerated and appearing to reach towards the little flower.
The rest of the forest seems distant, the trees sitting farther back except for
the limbs that overstretch the little clearing.

One mushroom surrounded by stands of cottonwood.
The distinct aroma of mushroom spores pervades the entire area with a sickening
scent reminscent of decomposing bodies. A copse of cottonwood trees stands at
attention, as rickety as they may seem. Casually growing in bunches of threes,
they seem to be somehow surviving near a small creek bed that has long since
dried up. One of the aforementioned mushrooms seems to be the lone visible
member of its kind. Its giant size more than represents the others as it looms
from a nearby rock.

Avenues of dead leaves and intertwined branches.
Leaves decay from the very branches as they fall through the air in a shower of
blackened death. Crunching piles leave little room for silence as every being
within this forest crashes throughout the huge stacks scattered everywhere. The
only avenue of approach for anything wishing some semblance of stealth is
through the trees and as the branches closely intertwine, travel becomes easier
than it appears through them.

Clashing flora in the darkened forest.
Tangled boughs criss-cross overhead in a shadowy umbrella that blocks any
natural light that might have tried to pierce the canopy. The only source of
illumination seems to come from the crawling lichen that oozes its way around
the entire area in a carnivorous display of hunger. Several of the various
shades of plantlife seem to be battling each other, large patches growing brown
in death while others seem to grow ever larger. The wind is tainted with a
subtle scent that sighs with the pain of death and decay.

Stained path through pink-tinted plants.
Deadly razor vines lie waiting for the unwary passerby, their blade-like edges
evolved over the years and honed to a decidedly painful entrapment. The
surrounding trees care little for the nuisances except for the fact that the
most travelled areas are the recipients of more blood and thus the growth of
the plants there has increased. Several of the maples trees in the area are
distinctly tinged pink providing direct proof that the vines have proven
effective.

Within a stand of subtly carnivorous flora.
Between trees with tangles of ensnaring spikes that serve for boughs, and
strangling vines with thin, serrated leaves, this area is dangerous to travel
through for the unwary. Old, dark stains beneath bleached bones mar the cracked
ground below the deadly flora and betray the remnants of the plants' victims. A
few maples with withered, star-shaped leaves slouch together among their
razored cousins, regretfully sustained by their kills.

A forest of spines and cracked ground.
Cracked ground pushes up at odd angles between suffering trees, desperate for a
release from that which has been thrust upon the forest. The trees themselves
have been warped and their branches have lost all of their leaves, now growing
sharp collections of spikes instead. Even smaller spikes protrude from those
long skewers, ends barbed to catch passerbys who may stumble close enough to
them.

Hidden within a sharp and soft forest.
In shades of muted grey and green, twisting strands of a type of lichen hang
down in clumps from the limbs of the warped trees. That lichen loosely hides
sharp spines branching out from the boughs of the trees as though they were
leaves, and gives the dangerous forest a softened appearance. Old stains of
ichor and blood mar the cracked ground beneath the barbed canopy, betraying a
past of victims bloodied by the thirsty flora.

Silken strings of some sort of lichen hang from the limbs overhead and block
the view of everything around. The entire scene is one of subdued colours that
mix with the ground and trees around with barely seen seams so everything seems
to be one canvas painted in a two-dimensional theme. The only bit of colour
that stands out is a curious sandstone monolith that lies crumbling at the
centre of the grove and whose inscriptions have long been worn away by time.

Destroyed bits of plant life cling to a tenuous existance amidst scattered bits
of carnage. Tree limbs lie in haphazard fashion, strewn about as though some
giant hand managed to drop its bundle of kindling upon the ground. The normally
silent glide of predators is mired down in the boggy decay and sloshing feet of
animals echo throughout the surroundings. Blackened tree stumps sprout in every
direction, accompanied by diseased marsh plants, like clumps of hair on the
balding land.

Swampy and mired wood.
Decaying plant matter and soggy ground have mixed into a stinking mire that
attempts to cling to anything which passes through it and suck its victims in.
The odd boot and bone have been left behind to stick out of the bog at strange
angles, and scraggly, blackened grass sprouts about these additions to the
scenery. Sickened remains of once-glorious trees, black like the grass, grow
low and twisted to the mire which surrounds them, as though inspecting the muck
for interesting trinkets.

Forlorn and decaying remains of a forest.
Sporatic, bare trees stand alone among their dead and decaying brothers, having
shed their leaves in grief for their kin. One tree weeps bitter tears of black
resin that stains its cracked bark with trails of midnight. The air is awash
with the aroma of the decaying plant matter, and the ground that drags at the
remaining trees is a mire of rot and soggy earth.

Fetid vale of a lone pine.
One large and twisted pine tree makes its decaying home here among razored
shrubs, with no other trees to lend it support. The pine's vale is awash in
fetid leaves that crumble at the faintest touch and whose lives are long over.
A warped recollection of the former natural glory that once made its home here,
sheer masses of dead leaves have been lost from their shrubby homes and left
adrift in this sea of pain. Green pine needles drying to orange leak disgusting
black sap and a sickly smell pervades the entire area.

Silvery trails of webs and vines shift about indiscriminately as the wind
blows, trailing against creature and trees alike. The sticky substance covers
the entire surface of the area and makes traversing it an adventure itself.

wilds. Leaves rain down as if the woodland cries for its former glory, shedding
tears of decayed plant matter in a shower of pain. The oaks themselves weep
black resin that stains their bark for their lost battle against the force that
warped them so.

Utter destruction has rampaged through this room and the Taint left behind
pulses with a rhythm that reverberates through every leaf and twig. The entire
glade is dwarfed by the massive shards of tree that emanated from the centre of
the explosion. Ebony sap pools in little basins around its massive girth and
they glow with a sepulchral lumniscence that highlights the surroundings in a
baleful light. The surrounding trees lear with rictuses of death, howling for
release from this forsaken place and their obeisance to the central area.

Several smaller trees stand in council around a towering, red-barked pine that
branches overhead and blocks the light in every direction. Their leaves
whispering secrets to their protector, this oasis of calm seems to be
relatively undisturbed compared to the rest of the forest. The tranquil nature
of the landscape is unsettled, however, by the dark ooze that leaks from
several of the trees, their very sap warped from its natural state. The black
resin brings with it a sickly, blighted smell that carries through the forest
and attracts odd motes of living shadow that silently dance about the trees'
twisted roots.

Lightning scarred glade beside a murmuring brook.
A bolt of lightning has torn a jagged scar down the trunk of a nearby tree, the
twisted wound seeping black liquid that covers the heart of the tree in sticky
darkness. The ground where the liquid essence of the tree has been absorbed is
devoid of all plants. Nothing grows in the circular region, a testament to the
corrosive and toxic nature of this twisted area. A small brook gently murmurs
on its way past the glade, but the waters are not as refreshing as one would
hope, as several bones line the banks.

Lightning scarred glade beside a murmuring brook.
A bolt of lightning has torn a jagged scar down the trunk of a nearby tree, the
twisted wound seeping black liquid that covers the heart of the tree in sticky
darkness. The ground where the liquid essence of the tree has been absorbed is
devoid of all plants. Nothing grows in the circular region, a testament to the
corrosive and toxic nature of this twisted area. A small brook gently murmurs
on its way past the glade, but the waters are not as refreshing as one would
hope, as several bones line the banks. Pausing to rest, an aslaran pilgrim
looks off into the distance. Pleasantly plump, the mother lounges here smiling.
A beautiful sprite flitters here with a brilliant halo of white light
illuminating her presence. Smiling to herself, a wood nymph stands here. A
willowisp bobs about in the air here. A pixie hovers in the air, fluttering
about on tiny wings. Floating eerily in the air is the quivering form of a
banshee. Trying unsuccessfully to blend into the background, a pigwidgeon
scuffles about on the ground. Unknowing Master Laysus L'Eternae is here. He
wields an athame dagger in his left hand and a glowing powerstone in his right.
Nyla, of the Wilde is here. He wields a golden sickle in his left hand and a
leather sling in his right. Kithe, Eternal Crystal Pebble is here. He wields a
worn nature sling in his left hand and a golden sickle in his right.
You see exits leading northeast, east, and southwest.

Most of your logs are fun, Guido. Starts with action, builds to a climax, lots of laughs, good acting. None of them is the feel-good hit of the summer, but they're all worth picking up at Blockbuster on a Friday night.

But this one was pretty dull. Way too much time spent on exposition and scenery. It's like Stanley Kubrick at his worst. You should see if you can get Tarantino for your next one. Or maybe John Woo. (Not sure where you'd get the doves, though.)

is deep enough that you can barely see the highest of the racers. The constant
churning and upheaval of dirt manages to still indicate their presence as they
continually digging downwards into the nether. A small grotto manages to exist
within the inner ring, the occasional pine having lost its place to the growing
pit as its shattered remains lie bridging the gap.

The original plan was Kithe followed me, I flowed, and Kithe vined, but Kithe was slightly too slow, so we switched eventually.

Yeah, I think Kithe's on a slow connection, I remember the same thing happening with some Geomancers on there, a pair of them. (Who I could've taken out if they hadn't kept running, they weren't very good. But they'd refused to respond to the Guard asking where they were going and such so I was told to get rid of them. sleep.gif)
