I've got my priorities in order.

Raan tells you, "The Guard is not going to actively hunt you, just stay out of
the forests here, and we will leave you alone."

You tell Chief Raan Lycaon'Vilacis, "Good, but... /seriously/, can I get my
pants back?"

Raan tells you, "You left your pants?"

You tell Chief Raan Lycaon'Vilacis, "I was afflicted by a curse that made them
strangle me. They are sitting in one of the shops off of the outer circle."

Raan tells you, "One moment."

Raan tells you, "Which one."

You tell Chief Raan Lycaon'Vilacis, "The one with the grey trousers sitting on
the floor. I think it's on the easternish side of the circle."

(time passes...)

You tell Chief Raan Lycaon'Vilacis, "You can take your time, but let them all
know that until I get some sort of cover for my lower body the Serenwilde won't
get so much as a single coin."

(Follow-up...)

You tug upon the aether strands around you, searching for one that connects to
Raan.

You have recovered equilibrium.

You teleport along the aether strands to Raan.
Alabaster Road through the Serenwilde. (road).
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Loose,
white stone pave the road, a carpet of glittering snowy rocks that stretches
through hill, forest and plain. While many of the white stones have been ground
to a fine powder by an age of heavy travel, most still retain their shape as
small pebbles, offering both traction and beauty. The road winds through the
Serenwilde Forest, its towering, verdant trees crowding on either side of the
road, their limbs hanging over the side of the road, perhaps in welcome, or
perhaps in warning. A statue of Jalain stands here, memorializing his noble
spirit. Chief Raan Lycaon'Vilacis is here.
You see exits leading north, east, southwest, and west.

Raan gives plain grey trousers to you.

You say, "Thank you."

Raan nods his head emphatically.

You give 1 gold sovereigns to Raan.

You say, "I now owe you 299,999."

Raan shrugs helplessly.

Aww, why'dya give him his pants back, Raan?
Typhus2004-11-03 19:19:26
Because, however much you wanted to punish him, punishing the whole land with the visage of his bum is just cruel and inhumane.

Free doses of Tetrodin for any looking to retain sanity! Well, not necessary now that he has his pants...

(And was it Tetrodin? I can't remember if that was blindness or deafness...)
