So, what is the one skill that everyone HATES getting hit with? For me, it's walking into a Hartstone's demesne and getting hit by those mushrooms....I don't know why it just irks me mad.gif
Unknown2004-10-27 20:16:51
I'm not a fighter yet, but I just got hit with scabies a short while ago. Ick! Can't wait to find someone to sell me all the proper cures now...
Eldrich2004-10-27 20:19:44
Aeon.
Shiri2004-10-27 20:55:49
That obnoxious thing Magnagorians do (I can never tell which) where all your limbs repeatedly go busted and you can't cure them without curing the main affliction. Somehow I've always given all the cures to those away. Or I forget to buy them. I've never managed to cure it once though tongue.gif

Also recklessness, because I'm always in such spammy battles I can't tell if I'm being hit by someone so I can't tell my health bar's going down, so I can't tell if I should cure or not. Darnit.

Blademaster. Try bleeding 700 health every few seconds and you'll know exactly what I mean. Then again, I'm a Blademaster, so I generally like the bleeding if it's happening to someone else. Then the trans Blademasters have a small chance of killing you instantly with a normal attack. So it just sucks when it's being used against you.

i got that, and my skill i hate seeing is ....aeon...oooh i hates it much unsure.gif
Alef2004-10-27 21:36:16
Aeon, I'm slow enough without it.
Ixion2004-10-27 22:38:51
13 ents; one with aeon.

Also, allhex's ability to vlock which is as of yet, uncurable.

I would say blademasters behead, but you can hack away on someone's head constantly with aslaran speed and never behead someone before arena time runs out.

Depends on the class. wink.gif

I've never done any PvP, but i'm sure aeon would be a horrible thing to go up against. Tae'dae already have Level 3 impaired balance as it is, Aeon would really push it over the edge.
Gwynn2004-10-28 01:11:21
Actually your racial balance speed would not matter if you get Aeoned, because its the least of your worries. It merely gets in the way of you doing more than one thing at once, i.e. Curing

-smirk- true Visaeris, but any class not being able to is ultimately screwed and quite unfairly hindered from any chance of true strength pvp.

Only Patchou can give Aeon, and only the Moondancer champion can summon her.
Allhex is tremendously powerful (as it should be), but an uncurable lock is too much. Focusing at least should enable you to break the lock. Testing with Raguel the other day, he said he got the message that focus had cured anorexia, but that it hadn't, so maybe it's just a bug.

My most feared would definitely be Patchou. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with her. Right behind that is Aeon. Rigormortis isn't scary, just extremely annoying when you don't catch it in battle spam.
Ethelon2004-10-28 12:53:56
Omen, sensitivity (hidden from minion), and Cosmic fire dealing more damage than I have health. I'm a little Faeling! I can't withstand that much damage!

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take three seconds for a mugwump to do all that
Unknown2004-10-28 13:01:47
I know the Nihilists can't vlock simply from allhexes because they don't have slickness........I would assume hexes wouldn't change from guild to guild so, going straight from hexes you can't vlock.
Unknown2004-10-28 14:21:02
Locking with afflictions is a lot easier, since in Lusternia - smoking coltsfoot cures anorexia, and drinking melancholic cures asthma. So if you get both, you need a special ability to get out of it. Slickness isn't actually a factor for a vlock, as you can't cure anorexia by applying something.
Which makes things nasty, and quite ability-reliant if someone can give those two afflictions at once.
Kaervas2004-10-28 14:28:34
So basically you're just about screwed if someone allhexes you with those afflictions.
Unknown2004-10-28 14:31:31
Well, you do bring up a good point there.......yeah! So that is interesting.
Sylphas2004-10-28 17:09:36
Allhex Anorexia, Asthma, Impatience, Paralysis, Stupidity, Epilepsy.

Realize that you don't need slickness to lock, and that impatience will stop you curing paralysis. Not fun at all.
