Unknown2004-10-27 00:40:53
NSW. Unfortunately.
Annelia2004-10-27 03:25:15
Good ol Adelaide here
Unknown2004-10-27 04:29:54

Good ol Adelaide here

Poor Annelia...

Consequently, I'm also a New South Welshman.
Stavon2004-10-27 08:36:19
NSW here... but aspiring to somewhere in Scotland.
Bau2004-10-27 08:42:48
*points just under her avatar* lookee, it says.

Gwynn's mah bestest buddy, from before I moved down here to good old Me'ico (Victoria, for the none New South Welshmen... south o' the border)
Unknown2004-10-27 10:40:12
No, Mexico is NSW. (Born and bred Qlder)
Bau2004-10-27 10:51:46
Can't say that, I lived in Townsville and Ingham too long. NSW are cockroaches from up there. Trust me, I was called that enough times living in Townsville a few years back.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:03:57
*rofl* Townsville is a right royal hole, don't listen to anyone who lived there.

Cairns-bred, Mackay-born (Brisbane universitied and Sydney worked). I'm working my way down the coast so far I'll be in Hobart in under a decade.
Bau2004-10-27 11:06:48
*gape*

Townsville kicks the S*** out of Cairns, so hush yer mouth. Cairns is a tourist-dependant hellhole with a mud basin for a beach.
Bau2004-10-27 11:07:30
And why would you want to go to Hobart? Surely an island which only has three surnames is not somewhere you'd want to be for any length of time.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:09:00
I don't _want_ to go there. I don't want to be in Sydney for that matter, I want to be in Brisbane. And when I went to Brisbane, I didn't want to be there, I wanted to be in Cairns. I don't think I'll have any choice in the matter.

Edit: And Townsville's only "feature" is an army presence and random government departments. That's the only reason it gets all the State funding that Cairns deserves. Cairns has miles of beaches, just not on the foreshore (though that's changed now too).

Perth here! biggrin.gif (Yes, I'm one of the few people I know who likes living in perth dry.gif)
Bau2004-10-27 11:13:18
Obviously, dlanod has not been to Townsville in the last six years. There is a two and a half long strip which used to be deadweight, which is now quite lovely, called the Strand. So tough cookie. And if I could only find the Mad Cow Tavern in Melbourne, my life would be complete.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:18:13
I have. I just chose to ignore it since I already went for the parochial POV. tongue.gif Cairns got all jealous and now we've got a whole similar set up in a corner of the Esplanade too.
Bau2004-10-27 11:22:04
*laugh* copycats. Cairns was a mudpit last time I went there.

I miss the Mad Cow.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:25:59
The mudpit, as you so delightfully put it, is home to one of the largest collections of migrating waterbirds in Australia. So nyah.
Bau2004-10-27 11:30:18
So it's a mudpit with a purpose, whoop-de-doo. Birds are a hazard in Townsville... birds and RAAF bases do not mix.
Unknown2004-10-27 11:39:01
Those RAAF people have the right idea. Townsville, best seen from 30000 feet going somewhere else.
