Threadfall Egghunt

An industrious spirit, figurative or perhaps literal, has been hiding paper mache eggs all over the Basin of Life! Some of them you will find rolling on the ground, some have been buried, some are in the trees, and others… who knows!

If you wish to look for them Tomarro at the pilgrim camp has baskets that will help you out – just ask to get a basket. Once you have one, it’s a game of hot and cold to look for the eggs and there may be extra tricks required to uncover them, too. Be sure to both PROBE and READ the information on your baskets carefully!

If you find 10 eggs of a given type you will complete the first tier for that egg type and receive a reward – this will be gold or experience that increases in payout as you complete higher tiers. PROBING the basket will tell you all about how close you are to the next reward tier.

There is a finite amount of eggs available to find globally at a given time but more gets hidden every in-game day. Your basket will tell you whether there are any around so you don’t look in vain. If the basket tells you there’s “very few, if any” eggs it does mean there are some eggs around but they may be hard to find. We are testing a new spawning and hiding method for these so even though we tested it, it may be possible that some remaining eggs could be inaccessible. Worry not, next hour there will be more!

Right now there are no additional rewards – this is meant to be a fun past-time without leaderboards and stress. But! We will be keeping an eye on how you are doing and have extra rewards in store for those who do well.
