Threadfall Has Begun

What’s Threadfall? A festival season celebrating spring and coinciding with Easter! It’s only our second time hosting it, too. Are we just looking for an excuse to throw presents at you? Maybe!

When the Tapestry of Fate needs a good ‘spring cleaning’, the Fates declare Threadfall to be taking place – a season of thorough inspections of the Tapestry of Fate. Lachesis is declaring which frayed and straying threads need to be cut, Atropos is doing the snipping, and Clotho is smoothing out the work of both so there are no flaws in the Tapestry. Fret not, it is not about endings! It is a season of new beginnings and rejuvenation.

Threadfall has just what begun and will conclude after April 19th. During this period a few things will be happening:

  • THREADS: You will be able to find frayed golden threads out and about (rare!), which you can contemplate for experience or sell to Tomarro at the pilgrim camp for gold.
  • YOLKKIN: The Liquorice Queen has magnanimously declared that yolkkin are free to visit the Basin of Life. They are very much like gnomes during Solstice – find one, interact with it (figure it out!), and get a present. You can get a present once an IG day and they will visit every so often preceded by a message about sugar-spun clouds.
  • IRONBEARD: Ironbeard’s going around with gifts too!
  • DAILYCREDITS: Between the 5th and 8th of April you will be able to claim all your daily credits with HAPPYHOLIDAYS!
  • HAMSTERHUNTS: Bunny Hamsterhunts will take place. The bunnies drop goop craftables when scared and may well kick you too. We’re not scheduling the hamsterhunts for now, and will give you a headsup as able.
  • GREATHUNT: A Great Hunt will be called.
  • WAYFAIRE: The Wayfaire will arrive sometime this weekend once more.

And more! We’re still working on things and we’ll see how many of our plans we can put in motion.

Hamsterhunt

Everyone who takes part will receive an Iron Coin and the three top scores will receive additional prizes. 1st place will receive 5 glowing presents, 2nd place will receive 3 glowing presents, and 3rd place will receive 1 glowing present. All hamsterhunts will last 30 minutes. In some you may be able to share your ‘hamsters’ and in others not. We’ll mix it up.

Great Hunt

Will take place between 11th and 12th of May, starting on the weave between 10th and 11th, and ending on the weave between 12th and 13th. Essentially a weekend Great Hunt! Check out HELP GREATHUNT for breakdown of the prizes.
