I've just loaded up the first batch of conversions for our overhauled
spiritual afflictions, the bard auric affs egovice, manabarbs,
achromaticaura, and powerspikes. Powerspikes retains the property that
in most circumstances the other aurics will be prioritised in curing,
and retain their inability to be cured while under the effect of Octave
in most cases. The afflictions have not, as of this announcement,
replaced any other afflictions. Some trigger line updates have also been
made, see Overhaul post 21 for details.

Along with the affliction conversions, soothing steam curing has been
enabled for the curing of spiritual afflictions; to use it, it must be
smoked from a lit (or artifact) pipe. The four bard aurics are now cured
using this mechanic.
