Plea for mercy? Arn't you a pompous fool?
Apparently your love afair and desire to be just like a city that you
can not be has blinded you to the power of nature and its amazing
diversity in life.
A forest, wheather properly hidden in shadow or not can and will grow
and thrive on its own. Nature will always crumble the tallest buildings,
kill the weakest creatures, create the biggest structures. It is for us
as humble mortals to embrace that nature, to bask in its glory and
greatness and beauty.
For too long have the people of the northern forest yearned to build
stone buildings of their own that they feel the need to cling to an old
empire and attempt to restore it. The people of Serenwilde appear to
yearn for glowing white bricks, made from the death of nature, and from
the powers of the Cosmic planes, when will you return to your roots and
accept nature for the diverse, powerfull, and eternal power that it is?
A hallow tree becomes the home of snakes, a snake becomes the food of
the birds, the birds in turn become the food to create more trees, and
all the while, I will make fire from the tree, poison my enemies with
snakes, and make cloaks from the crows.
To deny nature its power to thrive even when the sun hides is to deny
nature itself. How far Serenwilde has fallen that it can only see what
Celest chooses for it to see.
