The Tale of Xynthin, Wyrden Glory

Unveiled, the Ascended God Xynthin began to answer questions as quickly as He could, ever keeping His perceptions outwards, cautiously searching. Shocked silence and stunned faces looked upon Him, though as His tail unwound, Ragniliff and Xenthos began to realize and piece together more and more. And so the sad story of Xynthin was told.

The God Unveiled

For months the Veiled God lurked in the shadows of the Glomdoring, speaking with those who dwelled within. Though they pressed Him for detail, questions were oft answered with questions of His own, and topics shifted so readily that many began to realize they knew nothing about Him. Speculation ranged as to His true identity - some thought he was the traitor Manteekan returned, others His dark cohort Blooredi. Many scoured the history books and found their descriptions did not match - but still, some hoped.

And The Wheel Spins

Time and time again Stepasha's undead stormed the Basin of Life, claiming sections of land rife with energy, particularly those of a darker nature, and drawing them out. Krangar, Guardian of Destruction lead charge after charge into the Grey Moors, Shallach, Hifarae Hills, Skarch and other places. With time, their numbers grew, and many came to fear the wandering masses of undead, turning before them and the temporal abominations that spawn in their wake.

Binding of the Wheel, Revenge of the Dame

Working tirelessly, Glomdoring set about completing a task they knew would cripple the Time Dames and their legions of dominators, to bind and hold the Wheel of the Goloths itself. Using the Ebonglom Wyrdling as their vehicle for this great feat, those of the Merciless Forest fed it hundreds upon hundreds of the strange temporal anomalies, simply referred to as 'abominations', manifesting in the wake of the damage to the Wheel. Slowly the Ebonglom Wyrdling's aura expanded, dull at first until it grew explosive with the temporal energies the abominations were rife with.

Wounding of the Wheel

True to her promise, Stepasha, the Dame of Destruction, returned to attack the Glomdoring Forest. For more than a day the deathwatch beetles within the forest have clicked and chimed their eerie song, anxiously skittering amongst the trees. Soon the very Voice of Mahalla wailed and shrieked, the mournful tones of her song filling the Glomdoring with a dread cadence as the attack drew nearer and nearer. And then she came.

An Ominous Portent

Throughout the Basin of Life dark omens appeared, ranging from the superstitious Serenwilde to the fastidious and intellectual Hallifax and everyone of all faiths between. Lorrie of Magnagora was the first to hear tell of the dark days to come, and it was fitting - for Magnagora was the first to suffer. Snaikka i'Xiia cried out for help, and as Donovain n'Lochli arrived her assailant slipped away. The usually steady scientist was disconcerted, however, for the questioning that had been put to her before she became suspicious.

The Children of the Basin and Mystery of the Janderi

As the early morning sun rose over the mountains, so too did the Wheel of the Goloths rise into the sky, shooting bolts of energy which tore open temporal rifts across the firmament. Nymerya and Thalkros chased down the imp, and returned the key to Lady Ardath.

A Mysterious Cube

The Wheel of the Goloths became active once again. This time an enormous cube made up of smaller cubes emerged from the wheel, as it began to give a message to all those who had gathered. But just before the message could be completed, the cube became unstable and exploded into hundreds of shards. What was the message that was left uncompleted? Who did it come from? Will anyone ever know?

For now, the Wheel of the Goloths remains silent once more.

A Matter for Mushrooms

It was a seasonably normal day in Dioni when the Wheel of Goloths appeared once more, spiraling through the skies above the Razine Mountains. The Rebirth of the Cavaliers

It was but a late autumn evening in the 324th year since the Coming of Estarra when the Wheel of the Goloths rose from its dank, stinking pit in the Balach Swamp. Spinning faster and faster, an aura of cobalt energy grew to surround it and threatened the weft of time itself. Before doing any permanent damage, it released a charge towards the swamp and tore open a rift to the Vernal Wars.

The Isle of Olimsito

At the beginning of Tzarin, strange scenes began to be seen across the Inner Sea. The Vengeance of Fiabelhie Stillriver

Spring, usually a celebration of rebirth, brought strange tidings to the Serenwilde. Instead of newborn creatures and budding leaves, Miakoda cried out with alarm at the Mother Moonhart, sensing a fear in the trees themselves. Leaves were falling early, a foulness leeching their life away. Iasmos came to investigate, and found the Wheel of the Goloths had moved once more, coming to rest at the entrance to Moon River. The Serenwilde gathered to attempt to move it, but it was not to be. None of the inhabitants of the forest, nor Maeve of the Fae, knew how to shift the Wheel away.
