A Forbidden Love

A forbidden love,
between Aslaran and Human.
So innocent and pure, just like a dove
Yet what more can they do then?

Furred paw and fleshly hand,
locked together as one.
The moment shortly lasting, but oh so grand.
While both realizeit is a fight not easily won.

Days pass by so quickly,
Yet the appeal is still growing
Emotions being shown more thickly,
Though masking themselves to keep everyone from knowing.

A union not likely to happen between the two,
for each belongs to another
alas there is nothing either can do
to lighten the hearts of each other

No matter what may happen, or come to be
This Aslaran woman will always have me.
